I know that many of you may have heard this before but when Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook, asked Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google, if she should take the job at Facebook he gave her great advice. He said:
'If you're offered a seat on a rocket ship, get on, don't ask what seat.'
I'm thrilled to announce that I didn't ask what seat, and got on the rocket ship!
My agency, Silverback Social was acquired by PerformLine.
I've been an entrepreneur for seven years. When I first began my entrepreneurial journey I swore I would never work for anyone ever again. Monday that all changed.
Let me explain why this decision was easy:
I've admired and respected Founder and CEO Alex Baydin for many years. We were once colleagues and have remained good friends. We have followed each-others companies closely. But that's not really what clinched this deal.
What made this decision easy is the virtuoso team at PerformLine. This past Spring I emceed Performline's annual event, COMPLY. It's the world’s largest RegTech and Compliance conference— bringing together the most comprehensive gathering of innovators, experts, regulators and compliance professionals from across the globe. If you'd like to be a part of the event in 2018, follow this link for SUPER early bird pricing.
That experience allowed me to have close, real-world working contact with the PerformLine team. Their remarkable teamwork, extraordinary work ethic, and unparalleled knowledge of the space dazzled me. Making my decision to join the PerformLine team effortless, and organic. The proverbial no-brainer.
I can't wait to learn from, collaborate with & grow beside the most dynamic technology company in RegTech.
While this is the beginning of a new and dynamic challenge in my career. I can't do it all alone. If you or someone you know is a SaaS sales virtuoso, we're hiring!!
Let's see if you have what it takes to join the team that dazzled me as we lead the RegTech revolution! Follow the link, or pass it on.
Cue the Rocky music.
