COMPLY2016 Session Spotlight: Meet the Regulators

By Gianna Barrere
May 17, 2016

COMPLY2016 is THE Marketing Compliance Conference of the year! This jam-packed day will be focused on all things compliance, and we are kicking it off with one of our most anticipated panels, Meet the Regulators

David Sacks, current CEO of Zenefits, said it best, "Compliance is like oxygen. Without it, we die." Smart marketers know just like oxygen, compliance is vital in today’s regulatory environment. With CFPB and FTC enforcement activity increasing over the years, consumer protection is here to stay and must continue to become a top of mind consideration in the C-Suite.

Hear from current and former regulators at COMPLY2016 about their first-hand experiences, take-aways from recent enforcement actions, and the practical steps companies can take to avoid costly compliance mishaps.

In addition to regulators from the CFPB and FTC, former Deputy Comptroller of the Currency Jo Ann Barefoot will provide insight on the role of fintech in regulation and vice versa. She established the first federal consumer protection oversight function for national banks, and she is currently writing a book on consumer protection.

This panel will feature the following speakers:
