Hey Folks, it’s been a minute since my last blog, but I am back at it. The weather has been so nice and if you’re like me (now that the pollen has calmed), you’ve been outside as much as possible, working on projects or just enjoying a nice long walk. Take advantage because the dog days of summer won’t last and just like that, we will be shoveling snow again…
For those of you celebrating this weekend, let me be the first to wish you a Happy Juneteenth and to all of the Dads out there, Happy Father’s Day, and to my Dad, help me wish him a Happy 77th Birthday!
There’s been a lot going on within the walls of PerformLine. A few weeks back, we hosted the last of our three-part COMPLY Summit, which was filled with great speakers including a game-changing keynote from Robinhood Markets’ Head of Communications Compliance, LaSalle Vaughn (also PerformLine Board Member). He shared his best practices on Blitzscaling an Effective Marketing Compliance Program in 90 days. We also had great panelists speaking on the future of FinTech, BNPL & Point of Sale and even the Regulators dropped by to share some updates with us.
Just last week, we hosted a Client Success workshop where our clients had a front-row seat to check out some really cool demos of product developments. We also had a discussion with the FTC’s former Director of Consumer Protection, Andrew Smith, who shared some great regulatory updates and a few additional updates from yours truly… We ended the workshop with the announcement of our Kraken Awards. Congratulations again to Powerhouse Award recipient, Jordan Smith from Even Financial, and to Acima for receiving The Culture of Compliance Award. We appreciate your commitment to compliance! We are looking forward to being back in person next year for COMPLY2022!
